Great White Shark Diving - San Francisco
"Observe the largest Great White Sharks in the world up close in their natural environment. You will have the shark diving adventure of a lifetime. Our expedition crews are shark diving professionals with safety as our highest priority, for both our shark divers and the Great Whites. We have enjoyed a perfect shark diving safety record with no injuries to any diver or shark. Ever. All divers must be 18 years old. All diving will be surface supplied or ""Hookah"" only which means you do not need to be a certified diver. Water temperature averages 52 - 56 degrees F. Our shark diving cage accommodates 4 divers at a time and rotations last approximately 30 minutes alternating throughout the day. During the shark diving expedition, we utilize decoys to attract Great White Sharks to the surface and the cage. This method of shark diving has proven very successful and is generally accepted for use inside a Marine Sanctuary. We are a proud sponsor of the Shark Research Institute to promote the protection and better understanding of these magnificent animals. PLEASE NOTE: Each redemption is for 1 person only. Due to the unique and amazing nature of your activity there is limited availability and high demand. So that you can choose the dates and avoid disappointment we suggest that you schedule your activity at the earliest possible opportunity, even though this maybe many months in advance. Please do not make travel arrangements until Great American Days has confirmed your date of attendance and taken your voucher number and contact details. Scheduling: You must schedule your activity in advance. Do not arrive at the site with your Great American Days Voucher without a confirmed appointment, you may be refused entry. Please schedule the time of your activity directly with Great American Days. Once you have scheduled your activity you will be subject to the terms and conditions including those for rescheduling, cancellation and ‘no-shows’.
